I find that the men who contact me are quite younger. I am flattered, but I just wonder what is the attraction to someone 10 years older than they are. I would love to hear from you, and why?

How do you know we are not virgins....lol...I am sure there are a few kicking around. Can you imagine if your goal was experience, and you got one of the last virgins...lol...jk

Now i'm not a man but i have alot of guy friends and from knowing them i'd have to say it's because they figure you have more experience and also you're older so you don't play as many games as younger women do sometimes. You know more of what you want from life so you're not as confusing to them maybe...I may be way off but this is my guess.

And if they really knew then they'd understand that this depends usually on the person not on the age. There are 40 year olds that still like all the drama and still have no idea what they're doing with a man when they have one and the opposite also for younger women..

For me, I don't think i'd be willing to have a relationship with a woman who is a good bit older than me. Maybe only a couple of years max is what I would be comfortable with. Doesn't mean I don't find older women attractive. If you were to ask me who I think is the sexiest female on the planet, I would say Monica Bellucci and she is 40 something.

At least on a dating site everyone can see your age and make decisions based on whether they're happy with younger or older.

When people meet out in the real world it can be more awkward. I had a guy at work flirting with me for ages and he was horrified to learn that I was older than he thought, but also no longer of childbearing age.

Well mirror that's if people tell the truth about their age online cause its so easy to lie, for instance i get so many mails saying there is no way I'm 34 and i have to say i'm proud of my age and i wouldn't like to be in my 20ies again, i know what I'm about now and i don't take muck from anyone and i don't give muck, and i think alot of that comes with age and I'm not saying all are like that but most i would imagine! At the end of the day tho its how u get on with someone not what age they are! i know couples with 20 years between and they are very happy and that not just men older than women its women older than men too! so its all down to whom u are attracted to and how well u get on with them i think, but i do agree with Irish some are just looking for experience but that just shows their immaturity!

I think everybody has said some good points. It's a mixture of reasons really. Often it is as simple as the older women can still be really attractive!! Then there are the types looking for a second mammy to look after them! Whilst I am attracted to lots of older women, I personally would prefer somebody my own age

Age is never a factor for me, it's all down to personality, and looks obviously. If there was a smoking hot 40 year old, and she was into me, I'd go for it!

I guess it depends on what your after.

I find older women very hot, not sure what it is but they turn me on a lot. If it's just sleeping with someone then I prefer an older woman but if it's a relationship I'm after then I will go for a younger woman.

Older women have more confidence, and tend also to be more assertive.

They are generally more sure of themselves than younger women and thats a quality thats as attractive to men as it is to women.
