so looks first but really it all boils down to personality
someone could look lush but if they're a plonker they're out the door!!!!

There will be a few say 'personality is everything.'

The majority will say 'personality is most important, but physical looks definitely matter and trigger the initial attraction.'

There will be one of two who say 'f**k personality, looks are all that count.'


Conclusion: People have different opinions, some don't know so they sit on the fence, and a few bend the truth.

purely personality for me... if they can keep up with me in witty banter and take my constant barraige of sexual harrassment...then i will fall in love with them

I think it has to be looks first, then over time personality. Ever have a friend who you've fallen for over a period of time? Initially you may not think you'd ever be with that person but over time both personalities click

personality can be much more attractive than any physical quality. also, a great personality can make you find someone very attractive that you wouldn't normally be physically attracted to. if you can make me laugh, you've passed my first test.

Personality is so important, ever have been out and been all delighted you snogged the best looking guy in the place. Then the more you talk to him the more you want to kill him because he be such an arrogant pig

I seem to find that as a rule of thumb, the better someone looks, the more of a asshole they tend to be.

you don't go up to someone in a bar and go "my god your personality is amazing".
You have to find them attractive in some way, whether its their rugged looks or the way they tie their shoe laces, attraction is the most important thing. When u get to know them, thats when you choose really whether they are the whole package or not. People may be utterly butterly but ugly on the inside. But whatever anyone says.. looks are important. We don't go up to ugly people hoping their going to be amazing. Usually going out with someone u know isnt good looking is because ur insecure urself knowing they couldnt get anyone better than u, knowing they wouldnt do the dirty! Looks are important just as much as personaility but unfortunetly in our world, personality comes 2nd!
